I bought myself The Deceiver today (whoopie!) since i realized he can be very usefull even VS nids and GKs. Anyways, i took a look at the picture of him painted, both on the box and in the codex. Mostly gold and silver, but there is some sort of redish color in the cravises, armpits and between muscles. Any1 know how you would do to best achive that?
(I've deleted an other thread named 'Deceiver', it was a copy of this thread - Farinarsch)

They probably started with a base color and built up around it. In this case maybe started with a red, then a lighter color on top of that and then a gold and probably a highlight of some sort.

Would it be a chestnut ink. Some of the 'eavy metal boys are a little addicted to the stuff.

I have seen a guide in White Dwarf 283 in England, that does show you how to paint him.

If it was 283 for England it was probably either WD 284 or even 285 to us. They get it far ahead of us.

Damn. just realised, It's actually 273, not 283.
So if you're in the US, it would be 274.
Sorry, I always get mixed up!
