History: Adept Takis was the sole survivor of an Adeptus Mechanicus team that went into a Necron tomb on the planet of Phaethon. The event is known and recorded as 'Red Monolith'. After watching his entire team die at the hands of the Necrons, Takis and a Deathwatch Kill Team Commander retreated until they came into a large chamber. At the center was a Sarcophagus. The crypt was engraved with glowing golden glyphs. As the Kill Team Commander turned to watch for any threats, Takis opened the tomb. He was suddenly assaulted with visions, sights, and sounds of an unknown origin. Takis was shown the truth. That the true meaning of being machine was to be Necron, it was to be under the service of the True Machine God. Takis changed after this. He picked up a staff from the Sarcophagus and stepped toward the Kill Team Commander. He suddenly clicked the activation rune and the Commander was killed instantly as his entire body was flayed layer after layer. Takis has returned to Mars to report. For unknown reasons he has gathered his followers and left the planet. He is currently being pursued by the Inquisition for stealing of a Xeno-Artifact from Adeptus security. He now roams the planets seeking a way to become the embodiment of death. And that is to be Necron.

Am I right in assuming that the points limit is 75?
Cool fluff again, if I may say so.

I, like most people have looked at the rules for creating a Necron character and personally think they are CRA*! It is humiliating for a Necron to start with anything other than a Ballistic skill of 4, and having a toughness and strength of three is insulting! Their basic stats are closer to a scarab to a Necron Warrior, how bad is that! Unfortunately, i have not been able to contact Yarium (master of the dueling campaign) for him to verify these rules (below) of my character. I thought to myself; if we can't have Necron Lords why not start with a basic Pariah. This means he does not have the, 'we'll be back rule' but can hold its own against any character of any army. I have not worked out the points cost for my character, though below is his fluff and rules. Please i would like an opinion on him; is he to hard? to weak? etc.
KaelisRa (A Pariah with +1 attack and wound on his profile) Equipment: Warsythe (ignores all saves including invulnerable) with built in Gauss Blaster (strength 5, AP 4, Assault 2) and phase shifter (4+inv.) Soulless: any enemy within 12" will have LD of 7 unless it would be lower than this. Psychic Abomination: any psyker with in 6" at start of their turn must make a morale test or fall back among the unit they are leading. If in close combat and fails LD he will use 6's to hit in the assault phase that turn. Fearless assumed to pass all morale tests even if failure is automatic, and cannot be pinned More Human: Pariahs represent the next phase of the C’Tan’s ideal Galaxy. Crafted from the terrible symbiosis of Necron technology and human evolution, they resemble the artificial of soulless perfection. Kaelis Ra, over his years of serving the C’Tan’s wishes has increased his ability to that of a more human standard. This is represented by giving him +1 Ws to his profile. (this has not been approved by Yarium, so will not be used till then)
Ws 4 (5) Bs 4 S 5 T 5 W 2 I 3 A 2 Ld 10 Sv 3+ (4+ inv.)
Kaelis Ra, named after the Night Bringer himself was one of the many thousands of pariahs serving the Necron Lords during the campaign. He and his unit were separated, and only because of his enhanced skills did he survive the Chaos ridden land, and only one thought drives him, that of his objective. It was to find one of the Blackstone fortresses that were known to be close, get inside and start a beacon on its computers. This beacon would attract the attention of the nearest Necron fleet, which would come pouring down in thousands out of their monoliths; swarming the fortress and using it in their fight against their most hated enemy of the God’s. The Eldar who’s God had nearly brought about the downfall of the Night Bringer, known to them many centuries ago as Kaelis Ra, meaning the Destroyer of Light. At this moment in his never-ending life, he is on an Eldar Craft World. One which he and his unit (that he now presumes dead) broke into before they were separated. They were searching for a contact going by the name of Truan. Nothing is known about this rogue Eldar, whether he is a lowly soldier of part of a Farseer council? All Kaelis Ra knows is that he supposed to meet his contact soon. He dares anyone who would stand in the way of his God’s will to do so…

I agree, but saying that, in my opinion your character is quite powerful for 75 pts; maybe he could have his toughness and strength changed and certainly NOT his weapon skill.

Yeh your most probably right, maybe taking his toughness down will convince Yarium to let me have him? If so that would be cool!
